NEW DELHI: Shares of infrastructure companies were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Reliance Infrastructure (up 4.78 per cent), CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 4.64 per cent), Container Corporation of India (up 1.07 per cent), Tata Power Company (up 0.99 per cent), Torrent Power (up 0.55 per cent), Adani Power (up 0.23 per cent) and NBCC (India) (up 0.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Bharti Airtel (down 3.0 per cent), Siemens (down 2.73 per cent), Reliance Power (down 2.5 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (down 2.44 per cent), Bharti Infratel Ltd (down 1.55 per cent), NTPC (down 1.46 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.3 per cent), NCC (down 1.2 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (down 0.9 per cent), IRB Infrastructure Developers (down 0.7 per cent), CESC (down 0.62 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 0.56 per cent), NHPC (down 0.54 per cent), Engineers India (down 0.5 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 0.34 per cent) and GMR Infrastructure (down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.59 per cent down at 3337.8 around 11:58 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 0.85 points at 12119.85 , while the BSE Sensex was up 31.32 points at 41186.44 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SAIL, Tata Motors, JSPL, Vedanta , ICICI Bank, SBI, United Spirits and Wockhardt were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
